I'm a Senior Data Scientist at Afiniti, where I develop large scale ML models used to pair agents and customers in call centers.
I completed my masters from Cornell University where I majored in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a focus on Data Science and Machine Learning. I was part of Professor Fenqi You's research group and working on an industrial project for Siemen's Healthineers.
Before joining Cornell, I worked for four years in the Power Systems Industry. I was an Assistant Manager for Asia's largest transmission utility Powergrid Corporation of India. Ltd. for two years at 765/400 kV Solapur Substaion. I was one of the few selected to commision one of India's first STATCOM's. Before that I worked as a design engineer in Tata where I designed over four Air Insulated Substations and two Gas Insulated Substations. In 2019, I decided I wanted to contribute more to the industry and employ new technologies such as Machine Learning into the existing system. This prompted me to pursue my master's at Cornell.
I enjoy learning new things and solving complex problems. I have great passion for the work that I do and an ambition to become better than I was before. I'm a voracious reader. Some of my favourite authors are Edgar Allen Poe, Virginia Woolf and Oscar Wilde. I also enjoy sports such as Chess and Counter Strike: Global Offensive. Go Go Go !!
